Consider the Galapagos to be like a mini-planet located about 7/8 of
the way to the moon from the Earth. The moon being rock with no
living species and the Earth bountiful with millions of species. The
Galapagos has several thousand species, but they are really unusual to
survive in such a harsh environment. It was a totally amazing expedition!
