One week

since we came north. It feels as if we've never been away -- so this must be home base. Good to know! And I've settled into a routine of some intellectual work first thing -- that's the way it used to be "way back," and a good way for me to feel as if I'm making "progress," if such a thing existed in a postmodern world.

And I made some cookies. Too bad you can only see them and not smell or taste them!
