And Moms

Here's the bus - off they go!

And, seven and a half hours later - home again. More pictures!

We were busy all day - errands, cooking, projects - and soon it was time to walk down the hill again to meet the bus. (pic) Ethan's verdict on his first day - "It was disappointing. We didn't do math or reading or science." But he had a good time at recess! He doesn't go to school again till next week - the class is divided into thirds so the children (and teachers) have a small group experience at the beginning and afterwards the actual room assignments are made. I hope Ethan's in a group that does a lot of math, reading and science!
And we're trying not to think about the big storm we're missing on the east coast -we secured the boats to some extend, but not sufficiently for a really big wind.
